Upgrading a universal single day single park ticket

I have a bit of a strange question for people
Has anyone had a single day, single park ticket and then paid to upgrade to to either a dual park ticket or a multi day multi park ticket?

It’s looking like for my next trip I might be getting 5 free single tickets
And weighing up what I better to do either one of us use the free tickets and pay for the second, upgrade the tickets we need or whatever
It’s going to be two of us going over 3 consecutive days

I've never done it myself but Universal certainly allows you to upgrade a single park ticket to a park hopper ticket - for an additional fee of course! This often occurs when people want to ride the Hogwarts Express (you need a park hopper ticket to ride it).

I suspect they will also be happy to upgrade your ticket to a multi day ticket.

If you want to ride The Hogwart's Express then you will both need some form of park to park (hopper) ticket.
