Disney Magic First Timer Questions

Hi all,

Hoping a few of you can help a clueless first timer work out what the heck I am doing?

Booked DCL from Tilbury 29/09/21 for DH and I.

1. Both fully vaccinated adults. No children traveling. Have logged 1 account with Prenetics, creating 2 x profiles under this account for DH and I. Is this OK as I am seeing conflicting advice, with one saying 1 guest account (adding additional profiles to said account), another source saying 1 account and profile per passenger?

2. Have uploaded our evidence of vaccines and both are now showing as 'Proof of vaccination approved'.

Is this all we have to do regarding vaccinations aside from LFT on day of embarkation? Do I need to print off evidence and take this on the day or will Disney be pre-provided this information?

3. Online check in. DH is about to go away for a week tomorrow, right when we are due to online check in. Before he goes, did I see that I have to get a passport size photo for him taken and upload this at check in?

4. Parking at Tilbury. Any advice on where to park? Cost to park? Does this require pre-booking? Finally, how to get from car parks to ship?

I have tried to find as much as I can via the website but no joy. Hoping you guys can help point me in the right direction please. Finding myself stressing that I will forget to do something

As ever, thanks in advance

Can’t help with Tilbury but I suggest you take a head & shoulders picture on your phone of hubby before he goes away and upload that when you complete online checkin. It has to be a different photo than the one on your passport or driving licence. You also need a credit card to register at checkin so your can charge things to your stateroom.

Prenetics sounds fine. 1 account. 2 profiles. Upload the evidence and it will SSR vaccination approved.

As well as a photo of DH you also need a photo of his passport or driving license

Google tilbury cruise parking and it will give you the right website, we booked and paid in advance. It’s £12 per night and I believe it’s right at the port so can walk to the terminal.

Yes that’s all that needs doing for the prenetics. Save the QR code it generates on your phone to show at check in.

Take a picture of your hubby and ensure you have a picture of whatever ID you plan to use. You’ll need both of these at check in

If you want to get an early PAT log in at 5 am when check in opens. We did this and got boarding group 2 (11:45).

We are on the tilbury 20th, 22nd and 24th and we are first timers too. There’s a really good Facebook page you can join which is super informative

Thanks everyone for the advice ☺️ Greatly appreciated and really useful.

Up at 4.55am this morning and managed to get boarding group 4 (12.15).

Brought back the old days of bagging WDW fast passes at 4am 😂

How did you book parking for B2B? We are also on a B2B from Tilbury but the CPS website only let's you select the dates separately for each cruise
