Electric / Hybrid SUV with driver memory seats

Currently we have a 2018 Ford Edge diesel but looking to go at least hybrid if not full electric and found out today that Ford stopped making the edge in 2019 so that’s not an option.

Number 1 MUST have is driver memory seats as my wife and I both drive it and have very different seating positions.

Seems nigh on impossible to search on models that have driver memory as a feature and is quite hard to confirm even when you home in on a particular car. Would have thought it would be a really popular option but guess car manufacturers don’t want people sharing cars

So looking to Dibb for helpful owner suggestions please? Ideally £40k or less new and if available on the second hand market even better. Thanks

I have in the last couple of weeks bought a VolvoXC40 .
I can happily report that it has memory seat feature among its many perks , although DH has his own car so won’t be driving mine too often but we too have very different driving positions

I paid 38k for a 2020(70plate) , 10 months old and 1500 on the clock . It’s petrol/hybrid so slowly making the eco move , maybe electric next time .

Hope this helps

We looked at the Volvo before buying the Edge (30k 6 months old) but baulked at the price. Might have to revisit, really appreciate the quick reply.

They are a lovely drive , we had a Kuga a few years ago but hubby changed it for the Mercedes AClass so I got myself a Mini Cooper Sport , kids grown up so a bit of fun driving!
I had no intention of changing but when I came out from shopping a few weeks ago there was the most stunning Volvo parked next to me following week I had one too

Good luck

If you go full electric then the Kia e-Niro has this I think in it's top spec (from memory its called 4+) Should squeak in just below your £40k budget as well.

We just picked up a new BMW X5 hybrid last week. I haven’t plucked up the courage to drive it yet as it seems huge compared to my little car. It has the memory system for the drivers seat too.

We have a Hyundai Tucson hybrid which has memory seats amongst a myriad of other things! Love it!

The Mercedes A250e plug in hybrid has driver and passenger memory seats. Haven’t actually received mine yet, but it’s on order and top of the range came in at £38k

We took delivery of a new Tesla model 3 just 2 weeks ago...
Like you, we had memory seats as a must as we both drive it and DW is only just over 5ft 2... !

Great car, may be some used inventory on the Tesla site to bring the cost down as well?
