Canada 2020

I have read/commented on a few Canada related posts on here, but I'm getting myself a bit muddled and want to try and get my answers in one place so I can remember!

We're due to fly to California for 2 weeks on 1st October, followed by a week in Florida. I'm now getting less positive about this trip happening as each day goes on, so I'm trying to look at other places that I've always wanted to go, and Canada is one of them.

I know that currently we aren't allowed in there either, so I'm not sure if this is even going to be an option for us... but I'm still going to try to keep an eye out on the news so that I can maybe try to switch in 1-2 months if needs be. So a few questions...

As I haven't been closely following the news, or looking much into this until recently, am I crazy to think that this trip is even possible this year (likely planned for October)?

And am I right with these dates (roughly as I can't remember!) being right?
Revision of US to Canada ban - 21st July?
Revision of general travel into Canada - 31st July?
2 week quarantine mandatory until at least 31st August?

I just want to ask so that I can stop looking at the news every few hours, waiting for an update, when realistically there won't be any news until these sort of dates!
