Hotels for family in Las Vegas

Hi

I’m in the planning stages for our west coast trip next year, but can’t seem to narrow down the hotel selection for Vegas!

We’re a family of 4 and will be staying 3 nights in Vegas. I like the thought of a suite type hotel, but want 2 queen size beds, rather than a bed and sofa bed. We’ll have a car so will need to factor in any parking costs as well. Although we want to experience the strip, we’ll use Vegas as a location to explore the surrounding area.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m trying to beep the budget at around £150 per night. Thanks

We stayed at The Signature, its off the back of MGM, has separate pools, but is still connected to MGM via tunnels and walkways so you can access The Strip easily enough.

I think there are quite a few that would give the option of two queens - we've stayed at Venetian and MGM Grand and they definitely had 2 queens.

My favourite is Elara which have proper suites with a kitchen or kitchenette. We had children in our group the last time we went and it was ideal for children as it wasn't a party hotel and the pool area wasn't party central! Unfortunately, their prices have sharply increased over the past few years and have introduced a resort fee.

The Vdara is a fantastic suite hotel. It also is a non-gaming hotel so feels a little less overwhelming to some of the bigger, busier hotels... it was nice to return there after a crazy day on the strip!

Another vote for the signature suits, we stayed there and booked through Airbnb which worked out cheaper than booking through the hotel. The suite was still serviced by hotel staff. Massive bedroom, a bathroom that you could have had a party in, full kitchen etc.

Did MGM signature suits have 2 beds, rather than a bed and sofa bed? From what I can see online it’s the latter. Thanks

Hi the one we stayed in had a sofa bed which was outstanding, not your normal sofa bed. These properties are privately owned so have different finish levels. Ours was a 1 bed apartment.

Signature suites are great but this year we have opted for the Mirage.
Decent position on the strip by more family friendly than some others .
The pool is a big decider for us
