Just booked for Easter

After weeks of trying to work out the best route for our 2 week Easter trip, I’ve finally booked most elements today with BA. I had a voucher to use, so booked on the phone. Took a while, but got there. So, we’re doing:

Fly to LA and stay in Hilton Garden Inn Burbank 2-6 April
6-9 April Las Vegas (hotel to book)
9-11 April Grand Canyon (hotel to book)
11-12 April to be decided (somewhere between GC and Anaheim)
12-16 April Castle Inn and Suites Anaheim, then fly home

Booked an SUV and direct flights. With the new customer promise, I can cancel up to 3 weeks before and claim a voucher for the deposit. Just got to decide on the other 3 hotels!

2 weeks wasn’t enough to fit in everything we want to do, so we’ll definitely be back.

Sounds great! We are planning on booking with BA for August next year as soon as the flights are released.
Happy planning! 😃

Hi have a look at Joshua tree national park and Palm Springs for your route to Anaheim.
Just a thought 8 days LA area, not enough for some but a lot for many.

I’m looking at staying at Blythe on the way to Anaheim, so we can do a route through Joshua Tree NP.

It works out at 6 full days in LA, as the others will involve travelling, which is good for us. We want to do Warner Bros, Hollywood Boulevard, Griffith Observatory and DD said last night “we are doing Universal aren’t we?” - we’ll we weren’t, but looks like we’ll do a day. Then 3 full days at Disneyland.

I think we’re going to be shattered when we get home, but really looking forward to a different kind of holiday.

We've done a couple of road trips now on West coast and the stops we have done between GC and LA are Palm springs (both times), Scottsdale and Sedona. Stayed in Sedona for a few days and loved it, would definately return 🙂
