The Plot Against America
This starts next Tuesday at 9.00pm on Sky Atlantic.
Looks quite good, all about Charles Lindbergh beating FDR in the Presidential race and then aligning with Japan and Germany. Seen through the eyes of an American Jewish family. Worth a watch.

We watched Ken Burns The Dustbowl last week.
How families lived through that horror story in the 1930's beggars belief.

Charles Lindbergh was not a nice person but of course a huge celebrity. Very tragic about his Son as an aside. We must remember America had a huge pro German following in the 1930's and formed the German American Bund. However all that fell apart after Pearl Harbour and some supporters were deported to Germany. Joe Kennedy in the 1930's was anti Jewish and pre WW2 was also a Nazi supporter. America does indeed have a varied track record. However I suppose we are similar with the likes of Moseley etc.
