Mobile Where to go this year?

I’m really not convinced that our planned trip to Orlando is going to happen this year (or if we will even want to go!)

I’ve been looking at alternatives and really like the look of Thailand. Tui have some great AI deals for this December. I think AI would be better for us as DS has coeliac disease. I know that you still have to quarantine for 14 days on arrival at the moment- how long do people think this will remain in place?
I’ve also found some lovely AI in Tenerife, has anyone been in December? I’m worried everything will be closed!
What is everyone else planning? Just grateful for some alternatives at the moment?

I have a long haul Christmas trip booked and I’m hopeful it will take place. I’ve not been to Tenerife at that time of year but I have a group of family members that go then every year
They say the weather is pleasant although it can get chilly at night. Everywhere is open and it’s a popular time to go

We are very very keen to go to Thailand. We were supposed to be doing a four week trip to Japan and a few other stops this October for DH’s 50th but for obvious reasons have knocked that on the head. Personally I just don’t fancy a flight that long (is it 12 hours?) with face masks and experiencing a quite different culture when things are so ‘unusual’ to what may be the ‘normal’ there? So if we go away at all we will be staying closer to home.

Tenerife absolutely won’t be closed! It’s a winter sun destination. We’ve been just before Xmas before and it was wonderfully warm
