Mobile Executive homes by ocean beds

Hi all, hope everyone’s managing to get through this crazy time with a sane head!

We’ll be receiving a refund voucher thing in the coming weeks, so we’re looking at rebooking next year.

We’re going to upgrade our 192 hotel stay to a villa. Anyone had any experience of EH by ocean beds?

Any tips, do’s, don’ts, kind of thing. Also they have ‘fees to be payed locally’ just wondering how much give or take I can expect to be paying.

Tia

Expect to pay around 13% more locally in sales tax tourist development tax
Resort fees and cleaning may also be extra
It’s normal for non Us owners to quote a all inclusive price for a villa making it look as they are way more expensive but when you add n taxes cleaning resort fees ( usually they fudge it as WiFi acess ab
It’s to use community pool etc which in a villa 99% of folks don’t even if they think, they will
If the resort has a gym and you would use it daily then it might be worth it
Just get exactly what’s included and what and how much needs to be paid
locally and remember many local fees need to be paid on arrival on a card so you might need to take that into account as well
Then there’s the security bond which should be refundable or a one of payment that’s not
It’s not unknown for on arrival fees to be around $1000 up front with just some paid back
Just be careful and get all in writing
