Barrs Irn-Bru- " Your (as in Scotland's) other national drink"

This last one makes me laugh when I remember very many moons ago meeting up with a crowd of spanish lads towing a crate of Irn Bru to their flat for a party.I thought it a bit odd and assumed they were going to mix it with whiskey

BUT they didn't realise it was non-alcoholic! Because it was described as our "other national drink " , they just assumed it was like whiskey.

The couldn't understand why the alcohol had no effect. My friends and I just laughed and laughed until we cried!
