Never bought one. Hate music!

But until the day I die I will never forget 'My Boy Lollipop' by Millie as my Sister played it non stop for 6 weeks in 1964.

That was the first record I ever received. My Mum bought it for me from Woolworths 😂.
The first record I ever bought myself was We Gonna Make You a Star by David Essex. I still have it in my collection.

Save your kisses for me by Brotherhood of Man, in 1976. I was 9, this is the first record I remember going to buy, we had to take it back as it was scratched, and so were the next two that they swapped it for!

I had a record player when I was very little, and I remember listening to Ernie the fastest milkman in the West by Benny Hill and had some Wombles records too 😆

We love music in our house 😎

99%. I do like some stuff from the late 50's and early 60's but even then not much. It all fits with my weird personality.

My absolute favorite memory as a child is dancing to My Boy Lollipop - love it.

Everlasting Love 1967 first single, and Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons was the first album. Been listening to all the old Frankie Valli songs recently, together with all the old Northern Soul records from my youth. We were very lucky to have a Miners Welfare locally, and I remember watching all the dancers - still love it to this day. Memories.
