Taking ours down today as we are off to Gatwick tomorrow. Had a bit of a family get together last night so a good ending to the festivities.

Took ours down today. Hate how bare it looks when they first come down. Have got a few fairy lights dotted around the house... love to have a little but of festiveness all year 😊

Ours have come down today. As a child my mum always took ours down on 26th, they only went up on the 19th after my dads birthday. I hated them being taken down so early, it felt like Christmas was over so once I had my own home they went up a bit early (usually around the 12th) and they come down around this time. Each to their own, I couldn't stand mine being up on the 1st December as it would make it feel like a really long month!

Ours came down today. The tree is waiting to be collected by the bin men and the boxes of decorations are piled up by the loft hatch. That’s another year gone in the blink of an eye!

Had ours up for the longest time ever this year. Went up on the 1st December and down today, it helps that our tree isn't in our main sitting room, just lots of lights and garlands in there.
For us the time between Christmas and New Year is certainly part of the festivities but it helps that we are all off school and work. Husband went back on the 2nd Jan, girls go back tomorrow and I'm back on Wednesday so Christmas really seems over now!
