Mobile Houston airport advice

Hi all, has anyone been to Houston airport for a long layover? Where is there to eat and are there any good shops to keep us occupied? Advice appreciated 😃

Houston has loads of nice restaurants. It's really easy to walk between the different terminals and found some nice shops. Our layover was six hours.

Thanks ours is 5 hours one way and 6 hours on the way back. Do you have to go in and out of security? We’ve never done a layover before so newbies to this.

Terminal Maps are here

fly2houston/iah/maps/

There is a train (Skyway) between terminals on the airside so you do not need to go through security again

On the way there you have to clear customs then drop your bags and clear security again.

On the way back you will get off the plane straight into the terminal where you do not need to go through security

I found the airport really easy to navigate as really well signed. The food court area in E terminal constantly had air crew eating in there. Pappasitos was fantastic and well priced.
