Adblue for new diesel cars
First time I’ve had one of these and apparently I need to top it up otherwise car won’t start in 1500 miles.
Any recommendations on which one to buy or are they all pretty much the same ?

I got some from ALDI, £8.99. I have seen the same stuff at garages for £18.

Never buy from the Dealer! Huge mark up on it.
I have not put any in my cars as it tends to get done at service times. My Son when he had his Merc did enormous mileage so used the £10 for 10L stuff. If I was buying today I would use Tool Station. toolstation/redex-ad...SABEgJfJvD_BwE

I picked up my new car last week and the dealer said to just bring it in when the alert comes up and they'll do it for me there, he said it was around £30 twice a year.
For that little cost, I'm happy to pay them and let them do it rather than faff around trying to save a few pennies.

£ 30.00 to top up AdBlue is a rip-off.
Less than £ 10.00 for ten litres it will take around five minutes to do it yourself. Screwfix or Tool station. Edited at 03:58 PM. |

Dont forget when you have filled it up you may need to reset the warning. In our SEAT you do that by turning the ignition key so the lights come on but the engine doesnt start and leave it like that for at least 30 seconds. Then turn the key off and it's ok then

I get it from Amazon. I need about a litre per 1000 miles. As easy as adding screen wash - just don’t get them mixed up !

In our car (seat 7 seater) you open a flap in the boot and pout it in there. All the Adblue containers I have bought have a pipe supplied with them so you don't need a funnel.
