Cheap sunny pool holiday abroad ideas August

So despite booking several short breaks already I really am trying to go cheaper on our summer holiday this year! We have a 12 yr old and like to go the very last week of summer. After lots of planning and cold weather trips, i really would like a pool sunny holiday abroad, ideally all inclusive so there is a fair bit going on for our girl.

Any ideas? 🤷 It all seems so expensive these days. Found a good flight price to Croatia (its on my bucket list!) but good hotel accommodation is pricy, I worry that an apartment wouldn’t have enough going on with just us there! South of France was another idea but out of my comfort zone as no idea what a eurocamp type set up is like.

Thanks for listening to my first world problems 😂

Have a look at eurocamp, not all inclusive but lots going on and a fair few in sunny/beach destinations. Just look out the box, there’s a few near lido di jesolo/Venice in Italy that might be cheaper than heading to Spain.

Canaries a good option. Usually cheaper than mainland Europe in the summer

Else Skyscanner, see where you can get cheap/ good deals on flights to (found good deal to Lisbon Oct half term) and see if where you can find accomodation

Salou, La Pineda and Tarragona seem to be some of the cheapest (and are very nice) summer sun destinations close by this year. The Balearics are also a favourite of ours.

However, we found Europe expensive this year, so we have booked an all inclusive in Mexico instead. It wasn’t much more expensive than a half board in Europe and seemed to be a lot more value for the money

Thank you all for your advice. After a fair bit of searching I have found a week in August to Rhodes, all inclusive at a great review resort (some waterslides thrown in) with Easyjet holidays for £1500. I was most pleased with this!
