Hello, how long does it take for Estas to be approved. As did about 10 mins ago and still waiting for approval. It was a renewal. Forgotten how long it takes.Cheers

Rule of thumb... 2 hrs

Funny you should ask that , we are a family of four and have always done group Estas but then as children have grown up I done them separately as we do not all travel at the same time, 1st I renewed my sons, then my wifes and daughters in November, then two weeks ago we were getting ready to go to the airport the night before and my wife said she was having trouble checking us in , I was having a nap after being at work early that morning, then she asked me did I have an valid ESTA and I DIDN'T .
Completed form in record time and luckily got a reply within an hour

WTG Rob, with the DHS 72 hour rule it must have been a relief that the DHS applied the airline approval marker before you got to the airport
