Lets face it, if they had the money they would be refunding customers just like TUI, Jet2 etc.

The next few weeks will be critical for VA as they need to secure funding by the end of this month. I can see most people having to claim via their credit card/ABTA/ATOL etc

You can send text or what’s app messages but will just get told it’s in the queue blah blah. You can’t speed them up, if you could no one would be waiting 90 -120 days. They will refund when they get to your booking.

I got fed up with waiting and stressing and ended up changing the refund request to an open ticket valid until September 2022 (which I can change back to a refund request if I change my mind)

This happened with me. I received the email on 23rd June and I filled the form in the following day. On 29th June I messaged them on WhatsApp to ask if they received my form. They replied and cancelled my booking then. I have a cancellation invoice online and received the email. It may be worth doing that?

When you get the automated message on WhatsApp just copy and paste the same message again.

Did you have to request the Bubble Seat refund or was it automatic?

We've had mixed messages as to whether we needed to contact them or not

We were due to go on 29th May, we got 95% of our money back on 30th via chargebacks for services not received, the other 5% came back within 45 days because my bank was snowed under from chargeback claims.

Why are people waiting for this, your money is being held when it should be back with you - virgin don't give a damn about you or your loyalty.

The day after your flight should go, call the bank or card issuer and do a chargeback for services not received, save a s75 as a last resort as you'll likely have no issues with the chargeback

Given what was going on, i was quite supportive of Virgin and could understand a couple of months to get your money back. However, 120 days is ridiculous.
