Oh yes! With cold butter or toasted so the butter melts in! May be more of a butter fan but hot cross buns go well with butter 🤣

Yes please

Cold with cheese
Or toasted with spread

What I don’t get is why they are called HOT cross buns when they are sold COLD

My grandsons favourite treat. He prefers them to anything else, cake, sweets or even chocolate

We got inducted into hot cross buns with bacon by one of our ds’s last year and strangely it works very well.

Had Aldi raspberry and white chocolate one for breakfast today, not too keen on them. Also bought some cheese and chilli ones
