I'm pretty confident about late summer/autumn travel to the US so would book if it were me, but only if its was refundable or transferable.

I would feel pretty confident for October. As we all know, anything can happen, but if you can get a fully refundable booking I'd go for it. We're pleased that BA doesn't require payment until 3 weeks before, by which time we'd hope we'd know for certain if we're allowed to go!

I’m tempted to book. Current prices are higher than I’d like so I’m waiting and if it means we end up not going in October I’m ok with that. If the price was right I’d book now with BA.

We are rebooked again for November this time. I'm pretty sure we will get to go, then again I thought the same when I moved the original April 2020 trip to Nov 2020.

TBH..No i would not have booked for this year its just to uncertain and maybe "unsafe" if you have unvaccinated children!..I understand how tempting it is and i am all for "life is all mapped out & all that but this virus has left me feeling really nervous!...I am really hoping to go next summer as i am really sick of all this too..The good news is i guess you can cancel free of charge if you change your minds...

Bob Chapek has stated that he expects them to be required in WDW for all of 2021 but not likely for 2022:

I've just booked for Universal for October. I had previously said we wouldn't go if masks were needed but I'm sucking that up now and giving it a go as I'm desperate to go back 😂 if it's awful then I'd wait until masks weren't needed before returning again. Booked with BA, got a great price and they have a great flexible booking policy.
