car hire virgin holidays

Hello. does car hire through virgin holidays come with free amendments/cancellation? appears to say it on main page but then no mention of it in terms and conditions.

This is my worry. If you click on Terms & Conditions, then scroll down to 'Terms & Conditions for all car bookings' there is a sliding scale of cancellation fees. I emailed Virgin to check this and they referred me to Virgin Holidays, saying all Travelplus car bookings are dealt with by them. I couldn't find an email address for Virgin Holidays and haven't had time to hang on the phone for an hour or more as yet.

It’s a bit confusing isn’t it. i don’t want to risk booking if I can’t cancel or amend it.

If you go through Virgin Atlantic and click on the Flying Club page then into partner offers it says there it’s free cancellation. It’s via Travelplus virginatlantic/gb/en...lplus-car.html

It'd be worth taking a screenshot of the free cancellation part as some peope have had issues in the past.

I was sure it did so booked but there was no mention in my booking confirmation last week so I rang VH and they confirmed that you can cancel up to 24 hrs before, using the ‘manage my booking’ so all good.

Thanks guys. I text virgin and got confirmation and also screen saved the page where is says free cancellation. got a full size suv for over £300 less than a full size car with alamo directly. pretty pleased with that

Thank you for this info. It's put my mind at rest; well done for finding it we've booked for our July/August trip and I couldn't find any info anywhere so was feeling a little anxious.
