Hi Mj - bearing in mind it was pre-covid, I've always by-passed Budget's airport desk, heading straight to A or B garage office, so far I've had no issues.

Thanks for that, budget told me yesterday that UK passengers can do the online check in now, has anyone else heard this.

Thats correct, although you still have to visit the "key collection point" which I take to mean the rental desk - budget/budget-digital-check-in#

Budget digital check-in, see HERE. Apparently there is no need to present booking confirmation, just requested ID.

To my knowledge Budget's version of counter bypass, Fastbreak, remains UK unavailable. For me heading to the garage desk isn't counter bypassing, more bypassing airport desk queues

If it does mean bypassing the airport desk and going to the garage desk, that would be a big improvement.
