What a brilliant travel day, the train journey seemed so easy and how nice to have an almost empty train.
The park looked really quiet, great to have such short queues. You did manage a lot of rides on your first day. Definitely a benefit of Paris over Florida must be no jet lag 😀 I love the look of Katie’s pretzel, it looks delicious |

You're not wrong the no jet lag is a definite plus for Paris. The travel day was smooth and apart from self inflicted stress it was pretty stress free! LOL. All the worry seemed to slip away as we got into the parks that was really nice.

So glad you were able to make it to France! A fantastic travel day with easy social distancing on the Eurostar, and a smooth journey to the hotel. A great 1st day with lots of rides - a pity that the parks aren’t open in the evening. But, oh, to be walking up Main Street again - your TR has made my day!
Enjoy the rest of your holiday! |

It is a shame the parks aren't open later as they do feel different in the dark, plus it would have been cooler. But I'm nit picking with that really as we still had a great time and managed to do many rides multiple times.
The walk up Main Street with the music playing and seeing the balloons and the flowers, it takes your breath away. I wish we could bottle that feeling.

What a fab first day Abby ❤️ you did so much! I know Chris has been talking about DLP when our December trip is cancelled. It sounds like it's wast to get around.
A shame about the food places but at least you found somewhere. Looking forward to the next day ❤️ xx

It's also really good to be writing a Disney trip report I realised that evening that it was going to be a fab trip and we sure did have a brilliant time.
Ahh, I'm still hoping you get to have your Christmas trip, but I understand that you're having to prepare for it not going ahead. I hope it works out for you Kelly. We like the walk from the hotel through the village to the parks it's just lovely having the Disney music playing and it really gets you in the mood. The QS closing did take me by surprise, but it worked out in the end Kate loved her bb8 burger.

A great travel day. It seemed super quick and stress free. We drove over which whilst stress free was quite a long day-I’m liking the idea of the Eurostar.
Hotel Santa Fe looks fab! I love how close the hotels are to the parks and being able to walk. Great pick of rides to do-we loved Pirates-managed 6 rides over 2 days. Enjoying your trip report already and picking up tips on how to do it differently if we get to go to France again. Compared to Orlando it’s practically local! |

What a great start to your trip. The journey looked so straightforward. Santa Fe looks great, we’ve never stayed at that one.
I absolutely forgot how pretty Disneyland Paris is and that there are rides there that are definitely better than Florida. We went a lot when Joe was little but haven’t been back since he was 5. One of the times we stayed in the Disneyland Hotel club level, it was amazing and a treat from my Mother in law, it’s her favourite hotel in DLP. Location was fab, it had a lift that took you down practically to the gates and we had a balcony overlooking the Fantasia Gardens. Great memories but I doubt we will ever do that again although I’d like to visit DLP again.

It was a really good travel day and you're right this is our local park! I really like being able to walk to the parks from the hotel it's a definite perk. The hotel was cute, a little basic, but that was to be expected as it is the value option at DLP. It suited me and Kate just fine though. Six times on Pirates is fantastic, we clocked up quite a few rides too, not quite 6 though!
It is a really pretty resort, the gardens down to the Disneyland Hotel with the fountains are beautiful. We sat there a few times, mainly because it was hot and we wanted a rest before walking back, but sitting listening to the music is lovely. I bet club level was a real treat. I didn't think I could like your mother in law more after the Christmas trip, but what a fab treat from her!
