My poor mum - worst Mother’s Day ever

Was going to pop my present up when my step dad rang to say mum had had a fall and ambulance needed . Sadly she hurt her head and hospital have said it’s not looking good and just a matter of time - I am heartbroken . At least they have let us see her which I know is more than some people got this last year. I lost a close friend to cancer a couple of weeks and just don’t feel ready to say goodbye to someone else . I thought I would be stronger than this but I feel broken .

I am so sorry to hear this. This is horrible to have to live with at any time, let alone on Mother’s Day during a pandemic.
I wish there was something I could say or do to help, but know we are with you and your lovely Mum in spirit. Take each day as it comes xx
