What do I need to know about CSR?
Having booked 2 standard rooms (as we are a family of 6) upgraded to ddp for may 2020, what do I need to know about the resort? We've stayed onsite before but not here!

We've stayed there twice, but not since any of the new building works started so I'm not sureow the tower will affect things. However you will get the 2 new restaurants now. My dd loved the pool area, there is table tennis, hot tub, playground and a sand volleyball court. I thought it was really pretty and it was nice to walk around the lake. We have stayed in Casitas and Cabanas. The only thing we found was that it can be a bit of a walk to get to the central place to get your drink refills depending on which area you are in.
You'll have a great time I'm sure. |

Anyone know the order of the bus stops please, we have requested cabanas so any info about that area would be helpful (if the OP deosn't mind me butting in).

It used to be Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas, main entrance for the park buses, but the Disney Springs bus went the other way round. May change when the new tower opens?

The food was rather nice. We only had quick service breakfast and dinner - breakfast is the usual choice of eggs, waffles etc; for dinner we enjoyed the rice bowls and nachos (in a meat-free, cheese-free version, with lots of lovely fresh salsa and guacamole) as well as our first introduction to the Beyond (vegan) burger (which we've now discovered is available in Tesco). With the full dining plan you'll have quite a few more options which I'm afraid I can't comment on, but as I say we certainly didn't go hungry and the food was mostly of decent quality.
We asked for a room in Casitas 4 or 5 but were initially allocated Ranchos 7a. We've asked politely if there was anything nearer to these buildings and were given a room in Casitas 2 at no extra cost (it's a preferred building). It was an excellent location for us, but we would have probably enjoyed the Ranchos too. The Cabanas seem sweet and are nearer to the feature pool, but we didn't want to be anywhere near the new tower (we're not fans). It's a beautiful resort. The newly renovated rooms are really nice, the grounds are beautiful and the resort has a lovely vibe overall. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Edited at 10:34 AM. |
