Arriving back in U.K. on GCSE results day

It looks like this year the college enrolment starts the Friday after results day on the Thursday 👍

As college staff in our dept we all had to be present for GCSE results day for enrolments or enquiries as there were people who wanted advice or guides about resits or courses.

My school will not post results, they have to be collected in person. The student can write a letter for someone else to collect as long as that person has photo ID to show who they are. I imagine all schools are slightly different. Results usually show on school virtual platforms after 24hours, things such as Insight or other parent view websites.

I collected mine from the school - 'O' levels in 1980. We had to go in to see the head one at a time and she gave them to us. It was the same when I did my 'A' levels 2 years later. This was in South Wales which is where I'm from originally.
