I've just read all 53 pages (omg the stress! ) and this shows that the dibb isn't just an internet forum..it's a community💕.
To the OP I'm so pleased you made the flight under the most stressful of circumstances. I would've been a mess. You are an absolute star and very resilient. Your two kids are amazing. You should all be very proud of yourselves & celebrate with a drink or two on the plane ;-) May you all have the best holiday ever...you bloody deserve it xx |

So pleased to hear that the OP made it and I hope they have a great holiday - the outbound Miami flights yesterday were full to capacity so not surprised there were no upgrades available.
I would suggest that before their return just as a precaution I would contact BA (maybe by Twitter) to confirm that their return flights are all confirmed and OK. |
