Hi!

We travelled similar time last year. Had a Monday night booking for the campsite.

We arrived at the campsite around 7.30am, checked-in within 5 minutes. Once checked in we received our magic bands, our parking permit for the 2 days (to be displayed on our car dash), maps, etc...

After that we just drove to Magic Kingdom, got waved through the parking attendant (as we had our permit) and then used our magic bands for entry!

We didn't have to go back to the campsite to check-out or for any other reason.

I'd highly recommend do this if you can - you just need to get to the parks 30 minutes earlier to get checked in on the first day.

We checked in at a similar time. Took about 10 mins for us. We got the boat from there to MK

It is pretty straight forward and won’t be much of an issue at all. No need to check out

Or you could get a personal shopper like Fairytale shopper to send your magic bands to and she will then deliver to your villa/hotel (flat fee of $15). That way there would be no need to go to campsite at all- you can check in online and your free parking is automatically on your ticket/magic band.

We did this successfully in 2019. Even managed to combine 2 families on to the same pitch/booking and got MBs for all 8 of us, 2 days parking for 2 cars and the 60 day FP access. Brilliant idea.
Going again this summer but it’s obviously a bit different without FPs (reserving judgement on this). But still looks worth doing as there will be 10 of us and 2 cars. However I don’t have the option to switch to the US site as I did last time.
Does anyone have any tips on how to do this?

You can do it via vpn but wouldn’t it be cheaper to just pay the parking ? That’s the only thing you get now .

As above really, depending on time of year, you are at least $110 for 1 night so about the same as 2 days parking for 2 cars, hardly seems worth the hassle not to mention that you obviously will have already paid to stay somewhere.

Bev car park at camping is free because you can't camp without transport IYKWIM of course I wouldn't put anything passed Disney!

OK, I didn’t realise you no longer get the bands. We’ll give it a miss then and have an extra half hour in bed on the first morning, rather than heading to the campsite first.
