Forgot to mention a monitored alarm. Driving an extra 15 - 20 mins is less of a priority than monetary value to me so being so close in to Disney doesn't really bother me. Good luck.

First thing to look for is to make sure it's a genuine villa and not a scam. Avoid gumtree etc

Excited about Disney

For us it it has to the following order...
Location... preferably just off the 192... Emerald island, Sunset lakes, Formosa gardens etc. have spent many trips being further out and just not for us now! Not overlooked... It doesn't have to be a lake or woodland, just no one behind us. A covered area on the landau... DH likes to sit in the shade and I love the sun so something to suit us both! A villa has to have all these before we look at the interior! It's then... No floral sofas and/or carpets in the main area... They just get too grubby. At least 2 master bedrooms both with en suites... Only need this if DD / extended family are joining us. We are now not bothered about jacuzzis, play rooms, or TV style/sizes. We spend 90% of the time either out or by the pool!

Our top three are:
- a covered area within the lanai so we can still sit outside no matter what the weather (blisteringly hot and/or raining!) - wifi - the rear not being overlooked Location doesn't really bother us as we expect to need the car for everything and the way the pool faces isn't a deal breaker either. We've stayed in many different villas over the years, and all have had their advantages and disadvantages.

At least 3 bedrooms with queen size beds and ceiling fans, lanai/pool area not overlooked, & a safe. Then it would be modern/contemporary look, preferably a games room and no green plastic plants!
Location is way down the list as most communities are close enough to drive to where we want to go, neither is a gated community as everyone from the pizza delivery man to the pool man knows the key code. |
