Norwegian flight changed from FLL to MIA

Ive just had an email to say my flight has changed next August with Norwegian. Was supposed to be flying into FLL but now Miami. Any ideas? Cant even see if it's the same plane/seats

Norwegian have changed their destination airports. They will cease flying to FLL and Oakland and instead use Miami and San Francisco

Happy as we were flying into Oakland in October, San Fran is better for us

Yep just happened with us for April, now looking at other options as we already have car, hotel etc booked for FLL. Customer services were terrible, no explanation, no emotion, nothing

Have a look at the Tri-Rail transport. It runs from Miami Airport to Ft L Airport. Takes 40 minutes and costs $5.00 for a single fare.

We tried to book a flight returning from MCO to Gatwick on 21st April this weekend and it had suddenly disappeared. I'm guessing this is connected.

We just got an email to let us know that our flight has moved from Oakland to San Francisco International, suits us much better so I am happy.

Wonder if it is worth contacting your hire car company to see if they can amend your booking

We had the email today, moving us on to the MIA flight. (MIA to LGW). Our 1635 from FLL is now 1630 from MIA. This makes no difference to us as we have not yet booked our hire car and specified a drop off point.

They had deleted our exit row seats and given us alternatives elsewhere, but a simple phone call resolved the issue and we once again have exit row seats.
Anyone else with a similar issue might check their revised seating arrangements!

I kicked up a fuss, managed to get changed to the Orlando flight on the same dates. Still fuming, hopefully I can sort the car rental.

Both Miami and Orlando are much better airports to be based from if something goes wrong so you've got a deal paying FLL prices for a proper airport - look at it that way.

The reason they've done this is that they are now part of a larger group that has service contracts in both SFO and MIA so it is much cheaper for the airline (even though technically the new airports should be more expensive for them they aren't because of the scale)
