Hi Jackie,
I have to agree that Hollywood is a bit seedy. Still good fun though. This internet connection is pretty slow so we can't see videos on it. We are going back to Vegas tomorrow so will try to view your video from our accomodation there Jools |

We disliked hollywood and Rodeo Drive, but adored Santa Monica and if you drive from there down the pacific coast highway to long beach its beautiful. We are going to California next year so I'm reading your reports with great interest

A great day.. Taken note of the Disney soda place Would you say the stars home tour was worth it? Some people say they're a waste of money but it seems to me like one of those things you just have to do once

We didn't actually see much of the stars homes at all, just the gates and drives really. We still had a great time though and I liked just hearing about who lived where and who had bought from whom. It was great fun. One thing I forgot to mention when this report was written was that the cafe where the tour started from was featured in Million Dollar Baby. It was really a bit of a greasy spoon but we just had to have breakfast in there, food was good too. We won't be repeating the tour when we go to California this year though.
The Soda Fountain was really great, mmm milk shakes to die for
