Would be v interested to see responses to this - we are going TC for the first time ever and also premium - how does it compare to Virgin?

We travelled economy on the way out and Premium on our way back. Be aware you don’t get James Martin premium on way back from the US. The food was pretty much the same as economy to be honest. Only difference was a warm breadroll with dinner and warm pastry with breakfast. All free drinks though.

That's good as we are only travelling Premium outward bound!
Didn't think it was worth it homeward bound as we all usually sleep.

You see I feel different as I’m excited when we are going so not too bothered but fancy it on the way back as a last treat and a bit more comfort even if I’m sleeping.

We are the same, we have it on way back this time.
We recently got a good deal on BA to upgrade in May on way home.
Totally worth it , first time we have actually slept.

On way out it’s day time, I’m up and down all the time anyway . Way home in my seat mostly so premium is the best option. Also extra luggage allowance for all we buy
