Busy in magic kingdom today!

It's our last full day and I thought that as the kids here have gone back to school today that it would be quieter here today but it's rammed. Busier than any of the other days we have been here. I thought the second half of August was supposed to be slower than the first

We are here at the moment and yesterday and today have been very busy. I think the starwars annual pass previews has brought extra people in.

Volcano Bay and Studios were really busy today too. We’ve been here a week and it’s getting busier.

I expected yesterday to be busier than it was. I've been quite surprised at how quiet we've found the parks, yes some rides have been over 100mins but since we are used to rides being on average 70 mins we've thought times have been good on the whole and not as packed as thought it would be. I did expect it to be quieter since some schools are back.

We were at Universal Studios and IOA today. All my husband kept saying is “I can’t believe how quiet it is, this is crazy!”

With Express passes almost everything was a walk on.

We popped back to HRH at 12pm for 2 hours and the pool was almost empty too! There were a few a British families (and us) plus maybe half a dozen others max.

Hollywood Studios felt crazy busy today. Much busier than this time last year.

Knew our paths would cross at some point- and we missed you!
We did this evening on the studios and felt it was quieter than we had seen it all of this trip- that was after the afternoon rain though!
Star Wars fireworks tonight was the quietest I have ever seen 😳
I’m assuming everyone was in Fantasmic 😎

We are in Universal until Saturday. My 16 year old normally has an Everton top on. Finding Universal as busy as Disney.
Love SF, but miss not having EP. My strategy Is to get to Parks for RD then doing shows when it gets crazy. Then back at room to rest by 1pm.

It isn’t the second half of August yet, it is definitely still the first half of August. Perhaps it will be quieter from next week.
