Mobile No Disney?

So we travel out in may for our last Florida holiday - the rest of the world beckons after a decade of Disney. So now to the crux of the matter. To Disney or not? The price of tickets parking etc and fastpass palava are really putting me off the whole Disney thing it's getting more like a military operation than a holiday so will I regret not doing Disney on our last visit?

I feel the exact same way these days 😕 what about if you got a 2 or 3 day ticket just to see your favourite parks.
We’re only doing MNSSHP this year and that’s about as much Disney as I fancy

Obviously only you can make that decision but I can imagine us being in your situation one day. So for instance next year we are planning on doing more Florida and less Disney but not no Disney. Think if it was our last trip to Florida I’d do some Disney at least.

Yes...only you can make that decision. We have already done ‘no disney’ with a villa and universal split visit. But still fitted in a bit of Disney via MNSSHP and a monorail tour. That was a nice combo

Also there is more to the world than Florida as you say. The west coast is brill...san fran...Las Vegas...the national parks. And there’s always a day or two in disneyland.

When you are ready to cut the cord you’ll know. In fact sounds like you are there. Perhaps just do a few little disney things from time to time...just for the nostalgia! 😀

Can't answer about the last visit bit as I intend one day to go back and therefore have not been on a last visit. However we have not been to Disney since 2012 but have been to Orlando are 3 times. Lots of other things to do.

Thanks for the replies all.We should have travelled on sept 7th but rescheduled to may because of GE opening dates, so we have a great price on the park tickets and I'm kind of 'i'll never ride thunder mountain or test track again?' After talking it over with other half he says as it's the last time we should go big or go home so now I'm getting SeaWorld in there too, as it's the last time...🤦

I would go all out for your last trip if you can! It does require a lot of planning to disney, its part of the fun i suppose but also i miss the days you could get up and decide where to go on the day!
Hope you have a fab holiday

It’s entirely up-to you...no one can answer this question for you. If you don’t want to go as you’re now put off then don’t go. Personally I love the planning and how action packed the holiday is compared to other holidays but we only really do WDW every other year at the moment so we look forward to it every time.

Plenty of other holiday destinations, but I wouldn’t really go to Florida without Disney. Miami is lovely but still combine Disney with it. But like others have said and yourself, there’s plenty of other holiday destinations out there!

We have stopped doing Disney... Out daughter is 7 (almost 8) and prefers Universal so we dont bother. We always go in October so we just do MNSSHP to get our little Disney Fix and it doesn't cost the world! I agree its so much work. Last year i was regretting not booking disney tickets but once there it was fine and was happy enough and i dont regret it!

We are so lucky to have got to the point where we can think Disney is... 'meh' now! Although I'm not quite there yet! Just remember it was great whilst it lasted and hold the memories close!
