The DIBB owner has sold the villa and are buying a new one. They will be advertising the new villa once they have completed the sale.

Thanks everyone for their posts and private messages, the general feedback was that it would almost certainly be fine and we've just spoken with the new owners who have put our mind completely at rest.

From what I've heard from the new owner, the original DIBB Villa owners ensured throughout that the new owners would keep the same level of standard/quality that was currently offered which is great to hear and provides further evidence to why DIBB villas are best :-)

The new owners are very friendly and are just freshening the villa up with a lick of paint ahead of their first new guests. All is good!

Excellent news glad you have heard from the new owners. The same happened to us on our first visit in 2007 like you the new owners contacted us and we had no problems at all. Enjoy your holiday.

Although we have no intention of selling our home in the forseeable future I would also ensure that all our booked guests were looked after equally as well by any new owner. Anything less is just totally unprofessional.

When we bought our villa in March 07, we also took over 5 bookings from the previous owner, kept the guests all informed, and one of those orginal guests has returned, recommended us to their brother and family and we get a Christmas Card from them every year.

Last year the villa we had booked (not a Dibb villa) was sold. It took some tracking down the new owners and we were understandably a little worried. However, all was fine when we got there. As the owners let you know I'm sure it will be fine and you will have a great time.
