We returned three weeks ago and it was only the two of us in the villa (my fiance and I). Having all the space and privacy it has set the tone for our future holidays and I doubt we will return to another hotel in Orlando (except Hard Rock Hotel as we loved it here).

For me a positive is no maid service, now I know that sounds odd, but i always end up running around tidying the hotel room, making sure no valuables or money are left lying around. In a villa I know I dont need to worry - its not a big deal to just make the bed in the morning, wipe a few surfaces down. (although the maid in the Disney hotel did some very inventive stuff with my DD pj's and Eeyore)

O.K I'll allow you that negative one!

Thanks everybody for keeping the posts positive, it was an attempt at trying to not let the negatives on the forum recently overshadow why so many people do choose the benefits of a Villa!

thanks for that, glad to hear positives of being just the two of you in a villa, tried to convince the OH but he's having none of it!

Poolside bbq's and slobbing out on the pool loungers with an ice cold bud after the parks.

great thread,

only done it once so far, but staying in villa this time too!

Loved the size, the OMG WOW factor, our own pool (and the kids reaction that it was for them only (for 2 weeks anyway haha), the homely feel, being able to get all my washing done and dry before returning home, all being able to bath / shower at same time but in different bathrooms lol! lots of frozen drinks, ice cold beers and ice creams waiting for us when we got "home" from busy days in the parks, leisurely breakfast around the pool - chatting about our adventures so far, and what we were next looking forward to,

(we were greedy and had a 4 bed villa last year for the 4 of us...being a little more modest and having 3 bed this year!)

cant wait!
