Have you tried Culvers? We went last year (following a Dibb tip) & thought it was a cut above most fast food chains. Loved the frozen custard. 😍

Oh hell yea, gotta love culvers, we didn't have the frozen custard as stopped on route to airport on the way home last year. Normally Wendy's is my first stop apon landing, but September it'll be culvers and the onto the villa.

We have indeed. Maybe 2 or 3 years ago was our first visit and possibly like you from the DIBB tip The one at 192/Westside.

They are the only burgers we eat really because they're so fresh and not standing under a lamp like a well known chain. Joan usually has mushroom & swiss but actually I often have fish & chips.

Then we take home a custard and hope that the traffic lights are kind to us and it hasn't melted before we get home

For anyone using the newly paved bit of FSR, make sure to are very careful when you get to Entry Point Road. The cross traffic doesn't have a stop sign and I just saw another crash there yesterday. It might be turned into a 4 way stop now that it is a busier road.

Thanks for the warning Donna.

I'm sure that once all the villa residents from Highgate all the way through to Sunset Lakes, Emerald Island etc are aware of it then it will be the most popular way of getting to Sherberth.

Even after they put the 4 way in at Westside/FSR I saw a few near misses with cars coming north from the school without stopping.

It does amaze me how many people didn't notice the new stop signs. That intersection had become a nightmare. The day 1 teacher at the school hit another was a low spot considering they both obviously drove through it every day!

From Highgate I would take Florence Villa onto Westside, straight over on Avalon on to Hertzog and western way. Avoids all the 192 and the horrid traffic onto Sherberth with everyone trying to use the “shortcut” lol
