Just an update, photo was rejected yesterday, we resubmitted the same photo but scanned it. Had a text today to say that it was all accepted and the passport will be with us in two days.
Just incase this helps anybody. X

Hi all ,
For those that have received their passports back, I was just wondering how long they took ? I sent my sons off on 4th April for his first adult one and whilst we doubt it will be needed for a holiday, he’s applying for temporary work and they won’t accept everything else we’ve offered for ID and have told us to wait for his passport! Many thanks! |

I renewed my passport at the start of April and it took one week from sending it off to receiving the new one. And was lucky enough to get a blue one.

Passport arrived today, so applied on the 21st April, sent back old passport on that day. Photo was rejected online so we resubmitted it. Passport came on 1st May. Pretty quick service.
