Ok - you don’t have to name it (optional).. what is your hometown known for?

Join in ... just for fun...

Without naming it, (optional) what's your hometown known for?

I’ll kick off;

It was known for Steel manufacture (not now but you never know what will happen in the future) ... oh and the lemon top Ice cream

So what’s your hometown known for ?

Over to you...

My home town (where I was born) was known for glass manufacturing.
My home town (where I live now) was definitely known for its steel industry
