Mobile Best prices for universal onsite hotels?

So unless disney do a u turn and offer some good deals for nxt year we have decided to do a split stay at Seaworld and universal for our feb trip. I have just booked 7 nights at the seaworld staybridge suites (booked direct no deposit paid fully refundable) and was then thinking of 8 nights at universal. Intially thinking of an offsite hotel but wondered if the value universal resorts may come down to a similar cost- so what have been your best room rates and when and with who did u book?
We are travelling in feb 2 adults and 3 children so thinking about cabana bay or the new value resorts.

We booked Aventura for this February for 7 nights with BA for £610. I’d had a variety of things booked as annual pass rates but this was cheaper. We really liked Aventura and we had picked a not too busy week so not having the express pass wasn’t a big deal this time.

Loved universal in February with Mardi Gras going on.

Cheapest would found for RPR last year was on Travelbag - not sure on their cancellation policy at the moment so I'd check that before just going for the cheapest.
