Thanks for sharing your trip with us. I go to Krakow each year leading a school trip. When I first started, we stayed at the same hotel that you do, but we now stay just down the road from Auschwitz I.

Hope it helps, the trip report doesn't really do it justice, still lots we didn't get to do.
The photos are from a camera, very old fashioned, but didn't own a smart phone back then!
I would recommend it, we had a great time there.
