The tickets appear on your MDE account about 62 days out if you're staying onsite and 32 days if staying offsite. Basically, Virgin don't pay for the tickets until the last minute.

I wonder if this is because I booked this directly through Disney?

As I said earlier we'll be paying everything February so I'll be chasing them up for the Disney ticket numbers as I've paid for them x

I have booked with VH for May 2020. My hotel ( on-site) linked 9 days after booking on MDE and about 3 weeks later my tickets were also listed.
Then about 2 months after that the dining plan was also showing 🥰

If you booked directly through Disney then they will appear straight away, whereas if booked via Virgin they wait until the last minute to buy them (so they can earn interest on your hard earned cash!).

Untlimately, providing they appear in advance of the FastPass day, it doesn't matter, but it definitely causes anxiety in the lead up to that date as there's very little time to rectify any issues (should they occur) before the 60 / 30 days hits.

Having paid for my tickets several months in advance, I'd have been mighty annoyed if I couldn't book my FastPasses at the 60 days!
