Mustang hire - is the V8 version available?

Just wondered if the V8 is ever available to hire, as opposed to the 2.3 Eco tech. Asking for a friend who has requested a mustang with Alamo from DCCC and would love the V8. Many thanks.

It’s not very clear on the website to be honest and you can’t really go be the picture, which to be honest looks like the 2.3 poverty spec model.

Have they tried contacting Alamo?

Not with Alamo but my brother in law had the V8 with Avis in 2017

As an alternative, Alamo offer the Dodge Challenger, at the very least it’ll be a V6, but most likely it’ll be one of the Hemi V8.

Thanks all, I've suggested she emails Alamo direct.

Indeed... it'll still out-drag any 2wd hot-hatch in the traffic lights Grand Prix.

To the OP, posts on a well known FB page I'm on suggest that whilst the ecoboost is the commonly supplied 'Stang, a few are lucky enough to bag a GT (or an SS Camaro)... pot-luck I'm afraid, but managing expectations, I'd say a 2.3T is still plenty fast enough to get you in trouble, and better on gas... though a turbo-four will never sound like a big V8.
