Oh wow.

I was in Cyrstal Peaks at 2 it took nearly 3 hrs to get home to manvers And its still raining!

Nightmare today. Bad getting home from work from donny to Worksop. Then we went to Disney on ice at Sheffield arena. Set off at 4.40 and got there at 6.15. Just made the show. Ended up with no dinner as we were supposed to get something at centertainment. Couldn’t get back on motorway but luckily it was ok on parkway then motorway.

Did you see the video of Parkgate outside the butler king. It’s terrible.

Quick update before I go to bed, the rain is still falling, I'm in Rotherham which is flooded badly, I have family in Sheffield also lots of flooding, the area I live in we now only have one direct route into the parish as the bridge has flooded, coming the other route you have to get past meadowhall where its now breached. My OH with looks of it his work is flooded, he works at back of meadowhall and they put flood procedures in place when they left early, but on social media the area is flooded past where he works and it has to go past his work before it gets to where's flooded. Our old house the very bottom of the road is flooded and looks as though it will now flood on there, last time in 2007 it was under over 6ft of water. All this with one day's worth of rain ☔😮, anybody affected stsy safe x

Parkgate is under water now it looks shocking round there, seen videos of people driving through water that's far too deep and people on local social media pages asking for help to move their cars 😮

I’ve just been watching the coverage on Look North - said the river has gone over the new flood wall in a couple of places. I’m not sure when the rains due to stop - hopefully soon.
