Anyone learning a new skill?

I have started to learn French using Duo Lingo... hoping that by the time DLP reopens I can book a trip and actually communicate with the CMs in French!

I started learning Spanish with Duolingo years ago, I stop and start so often I'm forever having to revise what I should already know.
I also started an online photography course ( free) called 'A year with my camera' , but doing the projects and homework for that lapsed before the year was up.
I plan on putting both on my daily timetable, along with sitting out the garden and doing some decorating.

I took the plunge and started piano lessons last month. I’ve had 4 lessons so far and am enjoying it. The kids both play, so thought I needed to challenge myself.

Trouble is, the kids persuaded us to upgrade our acoustic piano to a digital one (which is fab).

I’ve neglected my camera lately so I hope to take more photos. Although I will have to get creative with the subject matter!

Not a new skill, but hoping to get on and crochet a baby blanket for a relative (Baby due June).

I've ordered an adult size hula hoop which I want to learn - when the lockdown (if it comes) is over, people won't recognise me as I'll be slim and my stomach will be oh so trim! I used to be ace at hula hooping as a kid but cannot do it for love nor money now.

Decided to teach the dog to hula hoop but she's just not getting to grips with it

The topic for the next few sessions at a crochet workshop I go to was Tunisian crochet. I’ve bought the hooks and a (hopefully) easy guide so I’ll see if I can be one step ahead when sessions resume.
