Virgin 747 to A330 200/300... any update

Tried to allocate us new seats in premium economy as the ones from our old 747 booking don’t exist and I can only find one seat available. Looks like my 25 year old daughter might have to sit on my lap 😂

We’re booked PE and had open choice of whether to sit upstairs or down.

No change for us yet either. We fly out 1st August still saying 747.
We are having a nightmare with our flights. We have booked with Travel Republic & our flights are with Virgin

MAN-LAS 09.00-12.00
LAS-MAN 14.15-0810.
Virgin app now says
LHR-LAS 15.25-18.10
LAS-LHR 20.45-14.45
Travel Republic app says
MAN-LAS 15.15-18.00
LAS-MAN 20.05-14.00

We haven't had any emails from Travel Republic or Virgin about any changes.
We sent an email via Travel Republic website 4 weeks ago asking what was happening with our flights with the changes of Airport on the Virgin app.
No reply as yet. So I joined Twitter(I'm not on any social media) so I could get intouch with Travel Republic on there.
Sent them a DM they got back to us 3 days later saying they have passed our question onto their Customer service department. I have sent them a further 2 messages with photos of their app times ect & virgin app changes.
Then on Friday I sent them another message asking about our flights now Virgin are not flying from Manchester and not flying to Las Vegas anymore. We will have to sit & wait. I will still messaging them via Twitter.

Our seats moved over yesterday to the a330-300 and now the times have changed too. We were on the 11.10 now 10am and return was 7.20 now 5.20.

I can’t understand why we are now flying at those times because the 10am flight was just as full as ours? 🤔

I think a lot more flights were updated overnight. Perhaps give it a couple of days as they may have just moved everyone and now have to tweak seats for families etc.

There must be lot of passengers gone adrift, as we were on the 10 am flight and our friends were on the 11am flight, our friends are now merged to the 10am , their flight was also full, can’t see that there are that many have cancelled yet.

Also I have updated our seats as they just gave us random seats but just logged on again and they have moved one of us to a random seat, worth checking Regularly If you have Recently changed your seats.
