Scarecrow trails

Anyone enjoy walking round these when they are on ?
Local village has one on the weekend .
We went yesterday. Nice walk in the sunshine having a nosey at the creations and also looking at what people had done generally with their houses and gardens giving ideas for ourselves .

The trail was only thought about 3-4 weeks ago and over 80 exhibits including an absolutely amazing willy wonka whole scene

Some may have been cancelled this year but there are a number within an hours drive of us which is fine as you get to see new places anyway

We have one we’re I live in Bothwell every year, lovely to walk round and see all the displays.

Our village has had one the past few years. I’m not sure it’s going ahead this year, not seen any adverts up about it. The money made from the maps is donated to the Children’s Society.

We’ve been going to the one in Kettlewell, for quite a few years.

The detail and effort put into the displays is really good. One of my favourites over the years was a Midsomer Murders crime scene.

The Flowerpot festival in Settle is good too.

We go to one in a village near us and its quite amazing the detail and work that goes into it, its a fab day out.
