Knock a door run in my neck of the woods. We also went Garden Hoping on the posh estate that had front gardens divided by privat bushes. Start at the top of the hill and run through every garden jumping the hedges, annoyed the hell out of the posh people.

Chap door run 😄 Central Scotland we would say chap instead of knock, especially for a letterbox - it was always ‘chap’ lol.

Where does the ‘ginger’ bit come from for other posters ?

Three boys where doing this to one of our neighbours a few weeks ago. We caught them doing it and pointed out that they are being filmed on two ring door bells and a CCTV camera!
They did seem a bit old to be doing it right enough, would say the youngest was 12!
