Another vote for cinnamon here, and nutmeg too. I don’t like the flavour of them either, or the fact that they’re just allowed to go around spoiling lots of otherwise yummy sounding food - savoury AND sweet. It’s just wrong.

I’m not sure that sick meets the criteria of “smells that wouldn’t bother most people” but I’m extra sensitive to it too. I have to hold a folded towel to my nose and face away when I’m looking after one of my children being sick - definitely not the most supportive mother in the world in that situation!
I also dislike Cillit Bang Limescale and Grime - it has undertones of vomit and I can’t get my head around cleaning my kitchen with something that smells slightly of vomit.

Saltfish and ackee - after a bad experience eating it a few years ago, if I smell it being cooked now I have to flee the scene.
Jet fuel (probably due to being a bad flyer). I was driving near Heathrow once and got a whiff of it, I thought I was going to have to pull over 🤢 The "airplane" smell in general (even if most people I travel with claim it doesn't have a smell). Others have mentioned Angel perfume, I'm fine with it but I remember working with a woman who loved it, but couldn't wear it as it gave her migraines

I am fairly strong stomached but actually one smell I cannot stand is chewing gum or anything breathy/minty. It's just knowing that I'm breathing in someone elses smelly breath, it really turns my stomach. I find people chewing gum with their mouth wide open a horrible habit 🤢🤮

Cigarette smoke how this is allowed in public is a disgrace if I were to force vile smelling poison into someone else’s body I would be arrested. Smoking should be punishable with death ... oh hang on a minute *
Any vape again vile vapour that has been through someone’s lunges, breathing this in is similar to somone Spitting in your Mouth... Fish predominantly Tuna this is the only things that makes me want to vom *of course I am an ex smoker 😀 |
