We had the Gousto peri peri chicken with apple slaw last night. It was a nice mix of tastes and textures, the apple slaw was very unusual.

Does anyone else find the chicken breast portions small? The recipe card photo had twice as much chicken as we actually had. I contacted them and had £6 credit.

Yes we have found the chicken portions very small as well, I liked the peri peri chicken one but the chicken breasts were really small, we also had the chicken and feta tray bake and that was also had very little chicken

Always found the portion sizes with Gousto really good.
Did try Hello Fresh for a couple of weeks, both times they couldn't fulfil the order (missed certain things off) which was really disappointing, so won't be using them again - although they did offer a credit back

Well I’ve just used the 50% off code and signed up to Gusto for next week. Kids are on half term next week so will have limited chances to go shopping.

The chicken with gusto is appalling. They give you half a very chunky breast. It made making the schnitzels the other night impossible, not impressed!
With HelloFresh you get a whole breast!

Because we ran out of discount with Gusto we are giving hello fresh a try - it will be interesting to compare them.

We had no problems with the portion sizes of any of the meals from Gousto (I cant remember how you spell that!)

Pork and oregano sausages with Savoy cabbage mash and glazed apples. From Hello Fresh. This was lovely. Sausages look over cooked but they weren’t. I’d never used an oven to cook sausages before.

We don’t have an order next week but I’m not sure if I will carry on. Finding it an awful lot of work to constantly cook new recipes after a long work day.

I nearly always cook my sausages in the oven.

I think Hello Fresh is quite hard work, some recipes require an hour of cooking and involve every pan in the house.

Yes some nights it has felt endless. Luckily Dh does the dishes if I cook
