Finding the Gazebo - Day 6 Castaway Cay

Castaway Cay was today and once again it was a hot sunny day, in contrast to the cloudy days in Orlando at the start of the holiday. Tracey and I got breakfast at Cabanas while Megan got ready.
We then went down to deck 1 to go, to find some people dressed for a wedding as we left. We walked round to the family beach got some beds and then went into the sea The water was lovely and warm and before long Megan left us to head over to Vibe.

We saw the wedding party again who were getting married on the island. We spent the morning in the sea before going for a walk along the 5k trail and along the inland runway. It was a hot walk so we got the tram back, had another dip and then dried off before going for food at Cookies 2.

We had cheeseburgers with some nice ribs and sweet corn. After that we had some fruit.

We went back into the warm ocean after and spent the afternoon having a dip drying off on the bed and then back into the water. We had a couple of ice creams too.

We are not usually beach/ ocean lovers but we really enjoyed today in the warm water and surprisingly were one of the last to leave and return to the ship.

We showered and got ready for pirates evening dinner at Enchanted Garden, including trying to put our bandanas on.

Megan once again struggled to find anything on the menu she liked and had samosa for starter and then another for her main course. She spotted Yorkshire puddings with people's steaks so asked for one of those, except nobody knows them as Yorkshire puddings. Tracey and I also has samosas, no soup tonight, we both had lamb shank and then macadamia nut cheesecake but Tracey also had bananas in paradise

After dinner we sat out on deck 4 for a while watching the joggers going past and the ocean going by, it was still really warm.

We then watched Cars 3 as we weren't bothered about the pirate deck party. The film was a disappointment after I had been looking forward to it

We picked up a couple of hot chocolates and sat by the hot tub for a few minutes before retiring to our room - worn out by doing nothing!

There was more food at the pirate party from 10.45 pm - we were too tired and too full to go but told Megan that she could make crepes and have some food seing as though she hadn't had much at dinner.

It's nice to hear how much Megan enjoyed Vibe, I always thought teens would be too cool for the clubs.
